hello, this is a VERY belated post.

i'll post about yesterday and today on the next post~



friday - HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRACE, YUENLAM and TIONGHO!

haha grace hoped you liked your JBs [jellybeans]! i know you do! ^^

and so grace got this UBERCUTE and GIGANTIC spongebob balloon from germaine and co. [btw what does co. stand for? company? counterparts?] anyway, spongebob sings a birthday song whenever you hit it! its SO uber cute! :D


so yup, and it kept making sounds during lessons, germaine felicia and i took turns smacking it till grace covered her ears and became afraid of spongebob's voice D:

so it was tied at the corner of the class, but some guys kept hitting it with erasers and papers in the middle of the lessons, so chenzehou got very pissed at jeremiah, made him take the balloon to the toilet and play with the balloon for an hour.

the scene was kinda funny, but i think we all pitied grace's balloon D:


oh, and mrhamdan slacked during class, so grace was brought out of the room, while the [ican't remember who] brought the cake up, and so there was a surprise for yuenlam tiongho and grace haha happybirthday!




and right, the day was rather nice,
but there was bio ct for me afterschool with 3J and 3K, and so i took a different paper from 3L. it wasn't well done but since i've studied, i think i'll pass ^^

i went to collect my results slip from mrsmohan and i did badly, duh, i fell asleep while studying for the majority of the tests -.-

BUT fear not, i'm going to MUG HARD during the sep holidays! :DD



AFTERSCHOOL

so after that i met xinhui, jiaying and ashley!

we had a hard time deciding where to go, and since all of us wanted to watch SECRET,
we narrowed down the options to tm, bugis, city or orchard!

somewhere far but not too far seemed to be a nice option, so we trained to somerset and walked to cineleisure! :D

the mrt was jampacked so i think we didn't get to talk much haha

orchard sure is crowded, even at around 2+ it was super packed. i almost fainted at the sweltering heat, passed by many familiar buildings and malls. its been some time, actually its 1 month since i've been to orchard.


i still remember my night out alone at orchard. that was the time where i truly experienced loneliness i guess. i was the one who chose to go to orchard alone instead of returning home anyway, ohwell.


so we reached cineleisure! took this picture on the way up the escalator, spiderman's here to grab you!

and oh, i was rather fascinated by how much the mall has changed since 6 years back, there's loads of shops there now, they sell cute and horny and pretty and interesting stuff, i'll make sure i'll go there during the december holidays! :D

well, unfortunately the earliest screening time for secret was 5+, and it was too late for us, and boy, were we even more disappointed when we discovered the timings for

ratatouille and hairspray didn't fit us either D:
the heavenly smell of popcorn made me salivate, and leaving that place was a struggle -yes its exaggerated-

anyway i'll be watching secret with
yeni kaiying xinhui jiaying ashley on tuesday, so i guess i won't feel so...deprived.

as i trudged down the escalator, i decided to snap another photo of our dear spiderman, he's in a descending motion , like how the excitement in me has..crashed. -ohwow, EMO- those feelings were faked btw, xDDD



yes, we were all hungry, so it was SUBWAY for us! :D

boy, i missed subway. its been millions and trillions and quintillions and sextillions of years since i've last bitten on the fantabulous and brilliant half foot long..bread.

as usual, i got my cold cut trio,

with no onions and capsicums.
topped with extra olives, warmed and toasted with cheese in the oven.

there's nothing more delightful than a warm subway. honey mustard really does wonders, sometimes i really wonder who on earth came up with these delicious recipes...



jiaying and i paid together and got ourselves a student meal, 4+ bucks for a subway and a chocchip cookie and a drink sounded like a really gooddeal anyway! :D

we got lemontea and i added a lil bit of sprite in my drink. never try that my readers, it makes you puke. well, not really, but its just not nice tasting D:


meanwhile, xinhui and ashley decides what to eat...turns out to be teriyaki chicken with TWO cookies and a large drink. they paid the amount for a subway, a drink and A cookie, but they got TWO each instead.

lucky people...

had a nice time talking yup! i can't remember the contents though! D:
xinhui and i eat quite slowly rarr. to put it in a nice way, we're savouring the true flavours of our meal ^^

the two lucky ones had a hard time finishing their double cookies, though they were really wonderful!

well, whatever. we spent close to an hour there and headed to HMV



my idea actually. ashley's bag strap broke there and she had to hold it in place with hairpins o.O
its a really big place! of course i saw my LEEHOM cds. [yes, i've been a loyal fan and bought gai bian zi ji xD]

esprit was next! i really want to zi bi and buy that top with the tie! i think ties are cool yes! 8)
uhh, what did we do, walk to a roadside bookstore, and spend loads of time there! XDD



while ashley was engrossed in her tyrant-y history book of hilter and stalin, and jiaying in her [i can't remember what] book, xinhui and i had a nice time looking at the BOOK OF DINOSAURS! ;D


here's a very weird one for you

i like that book! there were many siblings of barney too! we saw one that looked like his sister, and some cute ones and some evil ones.

i'm still interested in the topic of evolution yes!



afterawhile we got bored again and this time, ashley found the ADULT ONLY book of SICK JOKES!

that really set us laughing, there was a whole page on condoms:

a kfc condom is finger lickin' good! xDD



and then there were weird jokes,
the chicken and punk one,

and the meow moo one. xin hui was laughing at the joke for ages, while i stood there and felt retarded for not understanding the joke 0.0 till now, i still don't ....



ashley went half mad too, and so did jiaying xD
jiaying left for centerpoint to meet her parents at 7+, so we decided to go home too! (:

saw shui ling from the mediacorp show shouzu (kinship)! she looks kinda chio in real life yes ^^





yes, mrt. we missed a train cause it was too crowded -.-
peakhours i guess.


BTW we saw ALAN [the helper who worked part time at the chem lab a few months ago] on the mrt. HOHO.

so he smiled at me and i smiled at him so he waved to me and i waved to him.

then i was called retarded by the both of them for waving -.-|||


the trip back was slightly better, while xinhui continued reading her harrypotter, ashley and i sat down to talk. conversation..forgotten. i was just randomly shooting photos again, god knows what ashley did to her hand -.-

i'm not sadistic, btw.

xinhui got off at tanah merah, ashley at simei.
i discovered alan lives at block 147 -.-


anyway i had a sudden urge to buy JJ's xi jie after getting off the mrt, and so i did.
don't ask me why i did, i just did xDDD




home just feels great after a tiring but fun day, i'm looking forward to tuesday with you guys! ^^

whoo i'm back! actually i was back like many hours ago -.-||


anyway, my efforts didn't really pay off D:

i played quite okay-ly at my teacher's house this morning, and quite okay-ly when i reached home and started playing for hours again.

i was like super calm before the exam,

and guess what! i got a D minor scale in staccato SUPER wrong. repeated the first 7 notes like, 4 times i think -.-|||

hoho, but thankgod he gave me a C major scale legato for first one xD



so yup, i think he gave me 5 majorminor scales and i screwed 3 up T.T
appreggios was 1 out of 2 screwed, diminished7th too, same goes to dominant7th and third apart, so sixth apart was the only okay thing =.=


right, next up, B3! my teacher asked me to play B3 first, so yeah.
B3 - alot of wrong notes, screwed up the superfast places, paused for 2 sec at a point, little dynamics, too nervous to concentrate, basically this song is screwed manymany loads.

A6 - hmm, tempo was alright i guess, but there was some parts [the fast one] where both hands were playing stuff at the wrong time -.- get what i mean haha? very bu4 qi2. very little dynamics done i think D:

C13 - not as bad as the above two, although the screwed piano didn't allow me to do the tr~~~ D: not as much dynamics too yah, basically it was not as good as usual ):


sight reading - tikam my way through, notes anyhow play, rhythm like o.O

aural - its rather unlikely to be unable to listen to lower part, but this time, i totally flunked at it D: chords was like, o.O i said the cadence was interrupted, 5 to 6. tell me, since when was interrupted cadence 5 to 6 chord?!?!
sight singing was okay though, i'm happy lalala~~
then modulation i think i got the first one wrong, so he gave me another try! :D
and last part, it was 20th century music, and all i said was uhh, pentatonic scale, possible composers bartok and debussy. contrast in dynamics, uhh, i forgot the rest..



basically, its BYEBYEBEYEBYE to my piano.
cause my daddy said i'd get a new piano if i got a dist.
and now, the dist. is like DEFINITELY gone.

i'm not even going to get a merit la D:
i'll wait patiently for 4 - 6 weeks for results then ):





and after exams, my mom shopped around with me at parkway parade till 7 pm! :D
bought new shoes from charles and keith, i like the sound "kokkokkok" when i walk, even though the sole is flat yayy! xD

today's a stressful day, but a good day.

a good day for my hands, that is.

its been a looonnggg time since i've been able to play properly.
note i didn't say "its been a long time since i've been able to play well"

even playing properly's good for me. mygosh.



btw, i'll post drnoob concubine photos one day maybe. and i'll blog about today. my friend dropped her xxx into the bin, it made me laugh :D




anyway! tips for playing the piano properly [esp when your exam is a day away and you still suck at scales and aural. big time]

*actually you don't have to care about them. its just for me to take note of a few years later when i take my next exam, haha*


1) don't care about aural first. you can mug that on the way.

2) have a good shower. wash your hair and put loads of soap so you'll smell nice and you'll feel refreshed

3) have your dinner, you can't play on an empty stomach!

4) ask your mommy to massage your arms and shoulders so they'll be relaxed! :D

5) sleep for 10 minutes

6) wake up feeling slightly sleepy, then brush your teeth with loads of nice smelling toothpaste and wash your face with cold water!

7) calm yourself down, don't think about the bio test which you've not even touched. its just a bio test, your exam tomorrow is much more important

8) start warming your fingers up by playing scales [from the back of the book to the front]

9) after half an hour of scales, you're ready to play your fast/emo pieces!

10) take a deep breathe, sing the first few bars to get a feel of how fast you want your song to be, and stay focused, if you're in the examination room, pretend you're having a normal good day piano practice in the air con room

11) start playing! you'll be surprised that you'll be able to play what you normally can't play, normally due to fatigue and all.

12) lastly, have a nice time, enjoy yourself, be emo when you need to, give "light" songs "light" feel, especially those in classical periods i guess.




and yes, note to self, i'm dead for aural, but nevermind! i'll worry about that later!

my bio is worse, i'll worry about that later too!



first piece - sonata in E, don't hold notes for too long! hmm, just play ba.

second piece - allegro, its the classical period so don't use pedals! put more emotion into the song!

third piece - notturno, don't hold pedal for too long, rubato can be used, make your crescendo and decrescendo obvious. melody should be obvious. join notes together. express yourself freely and just play!



maybe i can only play third piece, although its still not too good T.T



rarr nevermind! i'll go playplayplay and try recording, cause cameras can act as the examiner and at the same time let me review myself haha..

yes i had been reading geog throughout, and i'm glad i did, cause i thought the test was rather okay, given that nothing went into my mind yesterday night and i had to restudy everything in the morning D:

rarr i studied geog during english and recess HOHO. first time in so many months i actually had the motivation to study. anyway, remaining calm during tests are the best things you can do! :D



got back chem paper btw, mstay is fasttt. i'll shrug again, even though i studied for the test i had a major blankout yesterday ):

geog was soso i guess, chinese was crappily boring. SS was a bore too, and we got back our papers.

and bio; i'm not sure if i should say i'm disappointed;
since i knew about the test at like 8-9pm when i haven't finished studying for chinese and chem,
i decided not to study for bio.

actually i wanted to study bio from 1-3 am, but i was super tired again, i fell asleep.
AGAIN. stop falling asleep emma! stop sleeping! stop sleeping at the wrong times! D:


so yes, i failed. with a straight F9. with the comment "see me ):". ms poh looked super angry, she looked away when i went up to collect my paper. she looked pissed and disappointed. ofcourse, who wouldn't be. i remember having rather good marks for my first paper. not bad for my second. mid years wasn't that well done, but at least it was okay.

but this paper? but i know well i can definitely do better. well, DUH.

and so i broke down. terribly. again.

the last time i broke down was the day i took the bio test, and now i sit at the same place, crying over spilt milk, crying like it was the end of the world or something. even though i knew it was obviously because i couldn't study. not that i din't want to study. i couldn't. i was far too tired, too stressed, too nervous.

thanks germaine and leongying loves. they passed a very sweet note to me while i was crying, a note telling me not to give up and that well, i knew i didn't study, not because i didn't want to, anyway. thanks for saying you'll be behind me, and from the bottom of my heart, i love you guys to bits and pieces, for being so sweet and supportive haha :D and germaine i'll still remember how you cheered me up the other time too, germ-ai-ne (: and leongying, thanks for asking about how i was and yup hope you're not sad or anything about the chinese marks, and anyway they weren't that bad!

and ohmygod seriously stop being so irritating. =.= i know how to use my time already, i've already learnt my lesson from this term. and i'm not so stupid as to not practise my aural and pieces. as a matter of fact i've practised my pieces for 2 hours today and you say i'm not spending time when my exam is a week away. please, 2 hours is not practise? and its just lunch after school since i have no choir unlike other people, is that like damn unreasonable, no its not. its not like i'm going out for a long time or anything. like going home straight afterschool on such a rare friday without cca sucks shit. whatever laa, i'm going for lunch tomorrow anyway, and i'll KNOW how to use my time properly. like i said, i've learnt my lesson.

i'll get my higghhh marks for the bio CT next week and prove mspoh wrong :D

4) PIANO EXAM [like OMG seriously i don't wanna fail for this man, if i do, i'll have to take like during jc cause of o'levels. and its coming and my scales and sightreading still sucks, so yeah. and my pieces still suck to rawrrr D:]

today's just a tiring day D:

i'm back from choir, learnt a new song called shepherdess! quite nice sounding and cheena yup
no, the sopTwos aren't big mamas!　we're slim and petite! xD

k ba we have a phobia of credo now, but nevermind we'll brush up on it! ^^

anyway i think my voice is more suited for these cheena songs omg o.O i can never seem to be able to sing those latin songs but hey! i didn't do that badly today man! :D



i'm not sure if i'm looking forward to the choirconcert next year, part of me tells me it'll be uber fun [i'm sure it will be], but another part of me says it'll be super time consuming [normal practises dragging till 7++] anyway! i'll just do my best and try to balance out studies with cca ba.

OUR CHOIR CONCERT WILL BE HELD IN MAY NEXT YEAR AT THE SINGAPORE CONFERENCE HALL [wait, is that what its called? o.O]




lalala and i still love the piano alotalot! ^^

although my scales and sight reading are sucky, and my pieces still require much practise, and i'll have to start reading up on aural and practise, somehow i don't dread pianolessons anymore! :D

okay to speak the truth, i only like [love] my three pieces and singing lower part in aural xD
i can't stand scales and sightreading cause i suck at them

hell no, they'll pull down my marks zzz.

my third piece [notturno, grieg] is just love, seriously. or rather i'm better at playing these [slow, emo] songs that is capable of making others sleep lolol.
on the downside, my first piece [sonata in E, scarlatti] hasn't been improving at all. the fast notes are still unclear, like qing1 ting2 dian3 shui3. a
nd second piece [allegro, mozart (can't remember which one)]..generally okay besides the fast parts again. i can only play fast parts at around 4-5 pm -.- weird huh.

but still, i have a feeling i won't do well [just like the grade7 twoyears back] i was super nervous then and screwed up everything ahh! and so far, my records are at such:
grd 3: pass -.-
grd 5: dist. (i think tyco ba -.-)
grd 7: pass (and a JUST pass. thanks to my nervousness zzz)

i hope i'll continue the pattern or sth haha! but wait, i think i'd be super contented with a merit already [still quite impossible, looking at how lousy my scales and sightreading and aural and pieces (which is everything) are..] or maybe i'll just stick to the pass T.T

so riane and i were abit late .__. we practised the national day songs and got high,

730 and the ndp started! uniformgroups are so cool yes! although i'll love choir 1000 times more cause its definitely more fun! but still they were quite cool! and choir sang quite softly but nvm la i think we've enjoyed ourselves ^^

anyway leongying and i took some pictures in the middle LOL. conclusion, i always look weird from bottom view up =X and yup nothing much during ndp its as usual, the secfours did some cheers and all.

dismissed at 10+ yup! i'm still high about the nationaldaysongs la! and i like singing low notes! somehow i like the middle c to g voicerange! :D

which reminds me. we've been doing acrylics in artclass for the past century [it felt like it]

we got like don't know how many lectures within a day. those calm, composed lectures that's supposed to make you go like

"oh i realised i've slackened alot this year, i need to buck up! i have potential in me man! i need to stretch my potential!" kinda talks.


actually its useful. it just made me want to do those maths work i've owed -.- did i ever say i was some maths genius gee. i'll just buck up during this hols la! :D

-guys throw stuff at each other and uhh, bully each other =.=
-majority of the populations sms-ing. [oops guilty. doesn't disrupt lesson! xD]

higher chinese
-chenzehou talks/sings/shouts, more than 80% of class sleeps
-majority smses too. since chances of getting caught are like THIS tiny
-guys throw stuff at each other, AGAIN -__-
-some people eat in class
-during the hp period most read hp, hoping not to get caught [he's particularly strict about us reading harrypotter -.- it affects our faith wow..]

-mrhamdan is funnyfunnyfunny haha!
-we're moving at an okay pace i guess, and don't we all love his BOON/NOOB jokes and the "one less ball for you" and chongrui's superman poses and mr hamdan koping food from us and mrhamdan selling psp(s) and mrhamdan using phones during lessons
-good thing we're [for once] not behind time woohooo.
-good thing! i understand emaths better than amaths cause amaths sucks shit.
-the class is SUPER Noisy during emaths rarrrr. so most of the time nothing gets absorbed. the reason why i pass tests -self studying-
-since mr hamdan uses his phone in class..we use them too -.-

-less people use their mobile phones cause mdm sim has a pair of sharp eyes. at least that's what i think.
-mdmsim emo-ing is not a conducive environment for sleeping anyway, so less people sleep
-mdmsim scrolls down so fast, we have to be vigilant and copy things quickly!
-we do crap though, since mdm sim craps like THIS much too -.-
-second, geog IS my favourite subject, i don't think i'll sleep. its not maths lessons -.-

-ms khoo walks around the class frequently, its difficult to use our phones
-ms khoo ehh, doesn't teach much -.-
-the class ehh, normal situation, some sleep some talk some listen some copy some daydream
-we often end up having sessions where we crap or something haha!

-mspoh's mostly pissed with 3C/3L cause we don't have the correct attitude in studying and we're noisy and all =/

and i admit mine became very sucky too. as in like, i don't really hand in my maths hw on time and all, and i recently didn't study for chem test and that resulted in a b4. okay correction, i did study, but i didn't study much =/




anyway hai get more talks to have them drilled in our brain, if not we'll become the class with most greenforms [mostly from not doing hw maybe] and the dirtiest class and the noisiest class or whatever.
